Our Story
IPM Engineering was founded in 2011 by Ian Vedder, a professional engineer and multi-discipline project manager (CPEng, IntPE, RPEQ, PMP). Ian has 30 years industry experience in the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Mining, Dairy, Food and Beverage, Pulp and Paper, Industrial Refrigeration, Pharmaceutical and Water Treatment industries. That same year (2011) contracting and consulting subsidiary companies ABI Coating Specialists and Project Management Professional Services (Australia) where also established and joined the group. In 2019 the Materials and Equipment Sales and distribution subsidiary Protective & Auto Coating Supplies was formed. Finally in 2021 STEPS Labour & Recruitment joined the group of companies to help support the further expansion of group businesses and provide additional services to our clients.
IPM Engineering and it’s subsidiaries have provided engineering and project management support to several billion dollars worth of major infrastructure and utility projects throughout the Asia pacific region.
